I just realized I never shared a review...and that's honestly a travesty bc this restaurant deserves all the kudos. Poppy + Rose is such a cute and unconventional spot. I went to brunch with friends a while back and had an amazing experience. The food was incredible. The staff was friendly. The ambience was *chef's kiss*. And as if that wasn't enough, I found out after that they have a program where they box up left over food that wasn't served for the day, boxes it up and gives it to people experiencing homelessness -- among a number of other social impact initiatives. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Can't wait to get back to DTLA to check them out again.

The food & service here is insane. One of the best brunch breakfast places in LA, if not the best!! Everyone is super friendly, the prices are reasonable and the food is incredible. I've been twice in one week because it was so good. I'll be coming back more often. 10/10 highly recommend!

DEFINITELY DESERVES THE HYPE!! I usually don't write reviews unless I feel the need to and Poppy + Rose has me in love with their chicken and waffles and Pork Hash dishes! Inside the restaurant each table is filled with flowers that I can tell are fresh from down the street as it's located near the flower district. The first time I came to Poppy + Rose we were greeted by our server who was super attentive and the food came out surprisingly fast. We ordered our chai lattes with oak milk and it was so delicious! Now I ordered the pork hash with a poached egg topped with arugula and it was so good I inhaled it! It was the perfect balance of sweat and savory, not too heavy, and the hash brown was crispy. The other dish we ordered was the chicken and waffles was super delicious, crispy, and flavorful. They accept apple pay which was a plus

The food was absolutely delicious, the taste is nothing but homemade goodness with the best quality ingredients. Definitely worth getting up early for a delicious breakfast, it's also nice to be able to take a nice stroll through the flower marts to walk off the delicious calories.

Really enjoyed having brunch here! Food tastes real good! Attentive and friendly service too! I also appreciate seeing beautiful flowers on each table thru out the restaurant. Great vibes and positive messages too! Lumberjack pancakes breakfast is huge! Also the brick hash is interesting. I like the inside of the hash- so soft. Other restaurants hash brown is too crunchy for me. The other must try is shrimp and grits. We also got a side of toast as recommended by our server. Such a great recommendation as it adds to the texture when you dip and eat with the toast. Inside the restaurant, the seating is mostly small tables but they also have two long community tables. As for parking, when you make reservations, you will be given a different parking address which is the flower market and supposedly connected to the restaurant. I went on a holiday and the flower market was closed. So street parking!

FIRE besides their matcha latte but it was good quality! The matcha was a bit underwhelming as it had a small portion size and not much flavor to it, but absolutely loved the fried chicken and waffles. Crisped to perfection and perfectly tender with the soft waffles! Service was fast and nice! Wait was a while though, but when I'm back in the Fashion District I will be coming back.

Great food- the Poppy Burger is quite big and delicious. No need for fries in my opinion cause the burger is huge. The service is top notch and the ambiance is a bit loud for my liking but otherwise it's lively. Definitely hipster, fresh clean ambiance. Chai tea latte is on the sweeter side. I know it's not impossible but restrooms are okay. If you're looking for affordable food this may not be the place but definitely has quality fresh, ingredients. Also the flower market is right across the street. Parking: paid parking

As a fat person, the food was really good. Really recommend the chicken cesar wrap. It had a great mix of flavors and the hot sauce with it was perfect, with a great mix between heat and pepper flavor. Service was great. it was empty for the most part so food came within 5-10 minutes after we ordered. Great experience.

4.5/5 Poppy + Rose is delicious. I got the lumberjack breakfast but substituted the pancakes for French toast. the French toast was to die for it was incredible and I got scrambled eggs with cheese that were seasoned very well. The blueberry limeadevwas really good (not the best I had but delicious still). This place is definitely worth a stop.

Been here many times in as many years. Maybe since 2016 ish. Our fav dish is Buttermilk Chicken and waffles, Avocado toast and eggs Benedict. All great dishes in the heart of the flower district by the fashion district. Metered street parking is mostly used here.
